Thoughts on Blackwater and Security Firms [0]
On September 16, 2007 in Baghdad, the private security firm Blackwater USA killed 10-20 people in a shooting spree. Details are on CNN.com [1] and MSNBC.com [2]. Many people have commented on the inevitable nature of these killings, which arise from the privatization of the military. Blackwater USA has been involved in many such killings, always writing them off as self-defense. They tried that again this time, but no one believes them. And many people are taking a second look at previous events with similar explanations.

Write for the Call to Liberty Online Journal [5]
Call to Liberty has received several thoughtful pieces by writers in response to the ideas in the book, as well as in an effort to further the dialog. As a result, we launched a new online journal which allows for comment from readers. We demand respectful, thoughtful dialog in the pieces and in the comments. We do not always agree this the writers, but view their input as important to the generation of thoughtful dialog. Click on Guest Articles to see these contributions.
